Paul Feyertag (b. 1985, NYC) is currently finishing his bachelor's degree in music composition at Lawrence University (Appleton, WI). At first a self-taught guitarist, Mr. Feyertag began his formal musical training at the age of 16, studying Jazz Guitar at the Wisconsin Conservatory of Music with Paul Silbergleit.

His music explores the acoustic limitations of western instruments, psychophysiological phenomena, and the exaggeration of faults within compositional processes with the purpose of forming a dialectic compositional language that incorporates discursive and linearly narrative elements.

His primary teachers have been Marcos Balter, Joanne Metcalf, John Benson, Matt Turner, and Fred Sturm.
